Movie Wreckers Towtruckchris and I were watching a movie the other day (Heat with Pacino & Deniro) when he mentioned to me how often  wreckers are in movies. I remember when Chris worked out on a film set in LA with Tom Johns, on some Bruce Willis movie, so I know he has some inside information about this stuff. Thinking about this for a little while I realized, I did not know how often wrecker actually played a part in the movies? "Raja" the big green wrecker just crashed in to a armored car sending it flipping over on it,s side into a used car lot. Chris told me to stop the player. He had me back it up to the part where the armored car is, on it's side. in the picture frame you see a boom head ,stacks, air shield to "The Black Cat". Anaheim Fullerton Towing is winching the armored car so it looks like it is sliding.  Chris really knows his wreckers, he should be in the movies. (Large View) _________________________
Kramer test drives a car on Seinfeld and stops to get gas. In the back ground is  Girard & Peterson Towing's 40 ton Century wrecker. It is used as a back drop. Chris is pretty sure this was filmed in their tow yard. Watch the clip Here ****** (Large View) _________________________
